The Writers’ Mill is a refuge for writers of all sorts, including novelists, journalists, poets, freelancers, academics, and researchers in Northampton, Massachusetts.
The Mill was founded in 2007 by a bunch of frustrated writers in the Valley. We were tired of feeling imprisoned in our home offices, tired of hunting for outlets in noisy cafes, tired of trying to write one-handed with toddlers on our knees.
The Mill is a quiet place where you can escape the distractions of home, connect with other writers, and get your work done. It’s quieter than a coffee shop but more vital than your living room.
